The Senior Camrose for the Teltscher Trophy
This home international event is in Cardiff on 17-19 May 2013 at the Village hotel in Coryton. Six teams will be playing, including many world and European champions. The Welsh team is Liz Atkinson & Chris Rochelle, Geoff Evans & Philip Felman, Patrick Jourdain & Gary Jones, with reserves David Birt and Mike Best and NPC John Salisbury. Insurance cover for Club Officers
The Welsh Bridge Union has extended its Officers Liability Insurance to cover post holders at all affiliated Clubs. This added benefit is automatic and the cost is borne by the WBU. Further details

Bridge Behaviour
A recurring theme from the members' survey in 2011 was concern that enjoyment of the game can be compromised by the poor behaviour of a minority of players. The WBU Management Committee has adopted this policy:
We will promote a playing environment which, by improving attitudes and behaviour at bridge, promotes enjoyment of the game by players of all standards.

Tournament Director Courses
Following our successful programme of Part 1 Courses the WBU expects to hold more advanced TD Courses in May and June 2013. Venues and dates will be according to demand. If you are interested, apply for a provisional place now. More details
The first such course is on 18th May at Sixwells, Cowbridge. It is for those who have taken our introductory course, or who fancy a refresher course if already qualified, and will cover 'Judgement Rulings'. Contact Neville if you are interested.
