5/3/07: Second Camrose weekend. The Camrose Trophy was completed last weekend in Scotland. Wales finished a very respectable third. The very strong Republic of Ireland team retained the trophy, and a strong English team were second. The Welsh team was Tim Rees & Filip Kurbalija, Paul Denning & Patrick Shields, Gary & Dafydd Jones, with Peter Garner-Gray as NPC.

The home youth internationals were held on February 16-18 2007 in Limerick. Results.

Report on the Camrose weekend by Patrick Shields added 17/1/07

First Camrose weekend. The first half of the 2007 home internationals was held on 5-7 January near Oxford, with all the matches broadcast live on BBO.
The Welsh team (see photo) was Tim Rees & Filip Kurbalija, Paul Denning & Patrick Shields, Mark Roderick & Mike Best, with Jill Casey as NPC.
After this weekend, Wales lie 4th, ahead of both the Republic of Ireland and Scotland, and just below Northern Ireland. The leaders are the Irish holders, followed by England.
