The WBU Journal
The 2007 edition of the WBU Journal has finally reached the printers, so it should arrive at the clubs in a week or so. This is the annual publication with the results of last year's competition, details of clubs, this year's competitions, rules and regulations, master point lists, the calendar and everything else you need to know to play bridge in Wales. We apologise for this lateness which arose from the changing personnel, but thank everyone, especially Linda, for their sterling efforts to put this complex publication together. You can access the journal online here.
Inevitably there will be some corrections to the Journal as the year proceeds. Please let me (webmaster@wbu.org.uk) and Neville (WelshBridgeUnion@deepvault.com) of any inaccuracies. I will publish a list of errata here when needed.
The WBU Magazine
The first edition of the new WBU magazine, edited by Gwynn Davis and Susan Ingham, was published early in March 2007. This was a bumper issue of 36 pages, which was distributed via the clubs; there should be one for each of the WBU's 2,000 members. If you have lost your paper copy, or never had one, you can read a PDF version here.
The second edition was published in September 2007, which you can also read online here. Note that Gwynn has a new email address: gwynndavis@btinternet.com.

WBU Newsletters (to 2005)
Until 2005, the WBU published a Newsletter which was also distributed free to all members, through the clubs. Here are the most recent editions, in PDF format. To obtain a PDF reader, see the box on the lower left of the screen. Do you have any other editions that I can scan and put on the website?

Appeals Booklets
David Stevenson produces an annual booklet describing and discussing all the appeals that have taken place associated with WBU events. You can find the full set of these booklets on his website here, together with similar booklets for EBU and North American events. These booklets are heartily recommended reading for players as well as appeal committee members and tournament directors!
